What is the Brow Lamination
1. What is Brow Lamination?
Brow Lamination is a non-invasive treatment that reshapes and sets your natural brow hairs into a lifted, fuller, and more polished look. By redirecting the hairs into a uniform position, the treatment creates the appearance of thicker, more symmetrical brows without the need for permanent makeup.
Unlike eyebrow tattooing or microblading, Brow Lamination does not deposit pigment beneath the skin. Instead, it temporarily changes the direction of your natural brow hairs, making them easier to style while enhancing their natural shape and fullness.
2. How Long Does Brow Lamination Last?
Results typically last 5–6 weeks, depending on your natural hair growth cycle and how well you follow the recommended aftercare.
As your brow hairs naturally grow and shed, the laminated hairs are gradually replaced by new growth. Once the treated hairs have completed their growth cycle, your brows will return to their natural appearance.
3. Is Brow Lamination Right for You??
Brow Lamination is an excellent option for clients who:
-
Have unruly, curly, or downward-growing brow hairs
-
Want a fuller, fluffier brow appearance
-
Would like to improve brow symmetry
-
Prefer a low-maintenance beauty routine
Brow Lamination works best for clients with a good amount of natural brow hair. If your brows have been heavily over-tweezed or are naturally very sparse, there may not be enough hair to create a noticeable lifting effect. While the shape of your brows is not the main concern, the length and density of your natural brow hairs play the biggest role in achieving beautiful results.
If you're unsure whether Brow Lamination is the right treatment for you, feel free to send us a photo of your natural brows before booking. We'll be happy to evaluate your brows and let you know if you're a good candidate.
4. How should I prepare for my appointment?
To achieve the best possible results, please follow these preparation guidelines before your Brow Lamination appointment:
-
Arrive with clean brows free of makeup, sunscreen, oils, or skincare products.
-
Use a gentle, oil-free cleanser before your appointment. Avoid oil-based makeup removers, as any residue may affect the treatment.
-
Do not apply moisturizers, face creams, or sunscreen directly to the brow area on the day of your appointment.
-
Avoid waxing, tweezing, threading, or trimming your brows for 2–3 weeks before your appointment. Allowing your brows to grow naturally gives us more hair to work with and helps achieve the best possible shape.
-
Avoid using retinol, exfoliating acids (AHA/BHA), or prescription acne medications around the brow area for 3–5 days before your appointment.
-
If you have recently had Botox or dermal fillers around the forehead or brow area, please wait at least 2 weeks before scheduling your Brow Lamination.
-
Let us know before your appointment if you have sensitive skin, eczema, psoriasis, recent sunburn, cuts, or irritation in the brow area.
-
We recommend washing your hair before your appointment, as your brows must remain completely dry for the first 24 hours after the treatment.
Following these guidelines helps ensure the safest treatment and the best possible, longest-lasting results.
5. How should I do aftercare ?
-
Don't get them wet or make-up for at least 24 hours after the treatment.
-
No steam, swimming pool, or exercising that would result in heavy sweating or washing for 24 hours after the treatment.
-
Avoid eyebrow serums and face creams for 24 hours after the treatment.
-
Use oil-free water-based eye makeup remover wipes to wash your face after the treatment.
-
Avoid sleeping on your new brow lift for 24 hours until it sets, sleep on your back if possible.
-
Keep your brows completely dry.
-
After the first 24 hours, gently brush your brows into place each day and apply a nourishing brow oil or conditioning serum to keep the hairs hydrated, healthy, and flexible.
-
With proper aftercare, your brows will remain soft, healthy, and beautifully groomed throughout the life of your Brow Lamination.
