What is Ombre/ Powder brow

1. What is Ombre/ Powder brows?

Not to be compared to Microblading, this technique creates a misty, powder-filled brow, comparable to the look of makeup versus simulated hair. Ombre/Powder brow is done sing a micropigmentation/tattoo machine to deposit pigments into the skin.

2. How long does Ombre/Powder brow Last?

Ombre/Powder brow lasts longer than the average 18 months of a microvvlading procedure depending on skin type, sun exposure, and other factors. The perfecting session (touchup) needs to be booked 4-6 weeks after your initial session. Touch-ups are recommended every 6-12 months.

3. Who can benefit from Ombre/ Powder brow?

The tails of the brow are darker and fade into alight start to the brow, giving that perfect ombre makeup effect! Ombre/ Powder brow is better suited for clients with oily skin types. Waterprrof, smudge-proof and completely realistic!

4. Who should not get permanent makeup done?

Pregnant/nursing, under 18 years old, have a fresh tan/burn face, are currently using Accutane or have used in the past year, are on blood thinning medication, have Rosacea.

 

5. How should I prepare for my appointment? 

  • If you have reference photos feel free to bring them.

  • If you prefer to have your brows waxed/threaded prior please do so at least 48 hours before your appointment, otherwise, I will clean your brows after I draw your brows.

  • Do not tan for 30 days prior to your appointment.

  • Do not use any products that contain Retin-A near your brows before and after.

  • Do not take any blood-thinning medications (i.e. Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Fish oil, Vitamin E) at least 72 hours before and immediately after your procedure.

  • Do not drink alcohol the day before and the day of the appointment.

6. A detailed aftercare form will be handed to you at the end of your treatment, you must follow every step in order to have good results, not following the aftercare will cause poorly healed results.

Not following the above instructions may cause bleeding, which will affect how well your body retains pigment and will affect your final result.
