Preparation for Lash Lift / Brow Lamination
Clients | Lash n Brow by KT
● Do not wear eye/brow makeup. Makeup close to the eye/brow area must be removed prior to the application process. Use a mild, oil-free cleanser. Do not use oil-based makeup removers.
● Do not apply face creams or sunblock in the eye/brow area. The oil found in many moisturizers prevents eyelashes/eyebrows to better results and reduces longevity. Use Oil-Free products.
● Do not put on mascara. Especially do not use waterproof mascara. Removing mascara can be very time-consuming and any residual makeup will prevent proper application of the lash lift/brow lift.
● Do not curl your lashes before your appointment.
● Do not shape/trim your brows at lease 3-4 weeks before your appointment to achieve the full effect.
● Do not consume any caffeine before your appointment. Extensions will not adhere to crimped Caffeine sttilulates the body and makes it harder to relax. Many clients who have coffee befor their appointment tend to have twitchy eyes and are unable to fully relax or take a nap during the session. Caffeine typically stays active in the body for about 5 to 6 hours.
● Do not work-out before your appointment. After exercising, the body tends to be in an excited or stimulated state, making it difficult to relax and fall asleep. This effect can be even worse if you consumed an energy drink before or after your workout. Energy drinks contain a high amount of caffeine, which further stimulates the body and makes it harder to relax.
● We recommend washing your hair before your appointment because you will not be allowed to get your lashes/brows wet for at least 24 hours after the treatment.
Important Note
*Please note that Lash Lift service is best for clients with fuller and longer natural lashes - if your lashes are very thin or short, you will not experience the desired full effect.
*Brow Lift service is best for clients that have fuller natural brows - if you have overly tweezed or have very few natural brows, there will not be much to work with and the results may be lacking.
* If you have stiff natural lashes, we recommend getting Keratin Lash Lift for better results.
*If you have senstive skins, we recommend getting Gluless Keratin Lash Lift for less damage to your natural lashes and no irritation your eyelids/skin.
